Take me out to the ballgame

Well the Novaks' braved the cold yesterday night for the Lake County Captains home opener.  A fun filled night of mini corn dogs, french fries and more.  Thank goodness for the free blanket.  Joel was snug as a bug in a rug.  Only one casualty involved- Jude lost his glove.  After a few tears we played the spin the wheel game, won a pencil, and all was right with the world again.  The Captains prevailed 5 to 4, but of course we didn't see the win.  Jude decided he had a belly ache (4 year-old code for I'm bored) around the fifth inning so we made the trek back to the car.  Overall it was nice to get out and pretend it felt like spring.  We have a seven game ticket package so there will be more fun to be had.  Hopefully we will get to play in the Kid Zone next time!
