Oh comes HOME!

Posted by:

Thanks to gofobo and Regal Theatres we got a sneak peek of the movie HOME. Such a cute movie. HOME is a DreamWorks Animation20th Century Fox production. With a cast full of stars including Jim Parsons, Rihanna, Steve Martin ans Jennifer Lopez how can you go wrong.

Oh (voiced by Jim Parsons) is a loveable, color changing, problem causing member of the Boov, who come to Earth to flee their mortal enemy and in the process take over the planet relocating all the humans to Australia. When Oh makes yet another mistake, he finds himself on the run from his fellow Boovs and in the process befriends Tip (voiced by Rihanna) an Earth girl in search of her mom.

Full of laughs, some love and a lots of music and dancing, HOME is a very family friendly movie. It tries to show that mistakes happen and it's more about what you do about your mistake rather than the mistake itself that counts. Tip along with her cat named pig helps Oh learn what it really means to have a HOME!

HOME comes to theaters Friday, March 27th. The Novaks' think it's a must see. But beware all the singing and dancing might have you saying "Oh, no! My hands are in the air like I just do not care!"

  1. Do you think a 3 year old would like this movie? Are there slow parts? My SIL is thinking of taking her son but she wasn't sure it would keep his attention.

    1. There is quite a bit of music and dancing which would keep a little ones attention. I think the rating for the movie is PG but I didn't see any inappropriate behavior for young children. There is some bathroom humor i.e. "Don't drink the lemonade" which I think is part of the reason for the rating. My kids have always loved movies and have been going to the theater since a very young age. My youngest is 5 and he sat through the entire movie in his own seat laughing like crazy.
